I arrived in Vienna this morning around 8:30 which is 7 hours ahead of SK time. I managed to get some sleep on the plane but woke up several times so didn't exactly feel like the energizer bunny this morning. I was hoping for a window seat but instead I got a seat in the very middle. There was a pleasant lady on the one side of me and a bit of an annoying lung doctor on the other side. He forgave me from being from AB because he didn't like Ralph Klein, airplane food seemed to be his pet peeve, and he offered to lend me his thriller mystery book to read. My luggage arrived safely and I stopped for a latte before heading to find a train. I took the CAT train in and then bought a bus pass for 72 hours for only 14.5 Euros. The train system is not quite as confusing as I thought it would be and so I don't feel lost which is always a good feeling. :) This afternoon I went to the Schronbrunn Palace and Gardens. I started resizing some pics but I'll just post a few from earlier on today and then hopefully post more tomorrow since I can barely keep awake. :P
Leaving the airport.
I managed to fit everything I was going to need into these two bags.
My cozy little room.

Neato!! Glad you're finding your way around easily, too! Your room looks so cozy. I've been wishing I could have come with you. ;)
I love the room. It looks cozy and clean. :)
Had to chuckle about the lung doctor. When he offered you his mystery thriller...
Glad you're having fun. Here's hoping that the jet lag will leave you be!
It would have been so much fun to have friends come along, Tammy!! :)
Naomi, seems all I need is to get through that first day when I arrive and then I'm good. :)
